Not necessarily — and this is the most common thing we explain to new customers. Shade and heat rejection are two different things. We can put a completely clear film on your windshield that blocks 95% of the heat, or we can do limo-black tint that only blocks 30%. Indiana law requires front side windows (driver and passenger) to allow at least 30% of light through — that's a 30% VLT minimum. Rear side windows and the back window have no legal limit. The windshield can only have a non-reflective tint strip along the top. We know these limits and make sure every job we do is road-legal.

Yes — this is one of our most common jobs. Most new cars and trucks come from the factory with tinted rear windows (usually around 20% VLT) and clear front windows. We match the front two to the back so the car looks finished and consistent. It usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

Most vehicles are done in 45 to 90 minutes. Work trucks and larger SUVs are typically on the higher end of that range. You can wait in our lobby — we have a TV, cold water, and a clean bathroom. No need to drop the car off for the day.

We'd recommend against it. Dealerships typically sub tint work out to whoever quotes them the cheapest install. You end up with a bargain job on a vehicle you just paid full price for. We work directly with you, you see the work before you leave, and your tint is backed by our lifetime Galaxy Guarantee — not a dealership warranty that expires.

We're open Saturdays from 9am to 1pm — but Saturday slots fill up fast. If you work Monday through Friday and need a weekend appointment, call or submit a quote request early in the week. We'll get you on the schedule before it fills. Weekday appointments are usually available same week or next day.
